Ms. Talia has been with Bach To Rock Sandy Plains since the school's opening day. She teaches voice, ukulele, guitar, piano, Early Childhood classes, Glee Club, and more. Talia has helped Bach To Rock students of all ages achieve and exceed their musical goals, and has helped a number of them join a B2R Band and record in the Bach To Rock Recording Studio just weeks after their first lesson. She creates a friendly and welcoming environment for all of her students which makes learning music with her fun and something to look forward to every week!
Talia attended KSU and then graduated from Lee University where she studied Early Childhood Education, Ministry, and Music, and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Ministry and Music Education. She taught vocals and musical skills to 1st through 12th graders and has conducted a choir of elementary school students. Not only does Talia have experience in vocals, but also in piano, guitar, and ukulele. She believes that music is a way to communicate feelings and that all genres are equally important. Talia feels that students can learn skills that better their musical talents, as they express their personalities through music.
We are very lucky to have Ms. Talia at Bach To Rock Sandy Plains, and we look forward to watching her help many more students reach their musical aspirations!
